Served as one of thirteen Library Directors within the University of Wisconsin Colleges, a two year division of the University of Wisconsin System. Responsible for all day-to-day aspects of library and textbook library operations at the University of Wisconsin-Richland. Oversee library lending, collection maintenance, services agreements and all other library and textbook library services. Set library polices goals and objectives in consultation with the Campus Dean and within the framework of the campus mission and governance bodies. Directly supervise, provide leadership and training for and work cooperatively with library staff, consisting of an Associate Academic Librarian, a Library Services Assistant, and a 5 member student staff. Maintain all required personnel records and manage all personnel matters related to the library and textbook library. Serve on Dean’s Cabinet with Campus Dean and CEO, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Assistant Dean of Administrative Services, Assistant Dean of Student Services, Director of Continuing Education and Director of University Relations. Manage and prepare library and textbook library budget in consultation with Campus Dean and Assistant Dean of Administrative Services. Order materials, equipment and supplies following UW-System and campus procedures and within the budgetary allocations. Communicate and work effectively with faculty, staff and students on campus Library Committee. Maintain strong public services image for library. Provide reference and information services, including interlibrary loan services, for campus and community clients. Effectively communicate library polices, procedures and services to campus and community clients. Serve on and establish goodwill and working relationships with various external groups and organizations for the benefit of the campus.
