About Todd Sigety
Todd W. Sigety is a certified member of the International Society of Appraisers, and is currently serving as President the ISA Board of Directors. With a certification in Antiques and Residential Contents and USPAP qualified, he is able to appraise a wide range of fine and decorative arts, although he is known primarily for his expertise in appraising, evaluating and authenticating period English and American antique furniture. He is a practicing author and public speaker on antiques and appraising. Todd developed, edits and has contributed articles to the Journal of Advanced Appraisal Studies, published by the Foundation for Appraisal Education. He is a past feature article writer on antique furniture with the Antiquer, a fine art and antiques magazine. He has often been recognized within his profession, and is a recipient of numerous ISA awards, including the President's Award, a Leadership Award, the Lamp of Knowledge Award and the Publications Award. Todd W. Sigety is also a partner in the Appraiser Workshops, developers of appraisal related courses and educational opportunities for practicing appraisers. Todd Sigety also operates two antique galleries in Old Town Alexandria and displays at select mid Atlantic area antique shows.
