Partner 2005-2024: During my career in the accounting profession, I have had the privilege of serving in many different roles and positions. I started my career providing traditional financial statement assurance, income tax, and business advisory services to the real estate, construction, and professional services industries. I continued to serve clients in those industries as a partner at Baker Tilly, focusing on organizational structuring, estate and succession planning, incentive compensation, operational excellence, and tax and business planning. Managing Partner, DC Metro Area 2012-2019: As the Managing Partner of the Washington DC market, I provided oversight and leadership to the professionals serving the greater Washington, D.C. area. We established a teaching culture and developed client service leaders and Value Architects. I worked across multiple disciplines and teams to provide insights and advice to the client service teams, as well as growth opportunities for the future leaders of the firm.Managing Partner – People Solutions (human resources) 2019-2022: I led Baker Tilly’s firmwide people strategy, along with a team of People Solutions professionals, including practices in talent acquisition, resource management, learning, talent management, and workplace culture. We focused on creating a sustainable workforce and developing people strategies that anticipate and adapt to the future of work. I also served as a member of the firm’s Senior Leadership Team.Managing Partner – Senior Advisory Partner Program 2022-2024:In anticipation of Baker Tilly having more than six hundred partners, I designed the Senior Advisory Partner role to provide more support to the partners by working in the field alongside them to influence, propel, and enhance partner development. The program is enabling partners to take advantage of the resources the firm has to offer to enhance their knowledge, experience, and connections — benefiting their clients and teams while delivering exceptional results for the firm.
