Mr. Struttmann,PE, PMP has over 35 total years’ experience, including over 30 years’ CERCLA project management experience representing complex multi-disciplinary environmental remediation projects totaling over $100M. Under federal contracts, he has managed eight multi-year remedial sites in accordance with environmental statutes. Through directing remediation work in EPA Regions 2, 5, 6, 7 and 9 for 20 years, he has developed expertise in managing multi-discipline staff and subcontracts. He has managed site investigations, feasibility studies, treatability studies, remedial designs, remedial construction, and regulatory compliance support. His expertise includes remediation of hazardous and radioactive materials, oil, and other contaminants and pollutants, groundwater treatment, modeling, and soil removals and disposition. He is experienced with both innovative and traditional remediation technologies including groundwater extraction, air stripping, carbon adsorption, air sparging, soil vapor extraction, metals adsorption, dual phase extraction, bio sparging, selective ion adsorption, in situ bioremediation, phytoremediation, and oxidant injection. His accomplishments include successfully achieving the second recycling Record of Decision in the country. He has managed remedial or response actions at 11 sites over the past 10 years and served as the ERRS program manager under contract from USEPA Region V. Mr. Struttmann is expert at resource allocation, effective delegation, client interface, work scheduling and monitoring, budget stewardship, contract administration, and issue resolution.
