About Todd Vick

After over 25 years of service to the United States Army I retired as Communications Officer specifically a Telecommunications Systems Engineer. I had managed and supervised at one time over 440 soldiers, being responsible for their health, welfare, safety, training, supervision, and morale. I have been personally responsible for over $22 million of Satellite control equipment,$500 thousand yearly budgets, and designed plans and orders that directed the actions that affect 25 countries and over soldiers. I was the Director of Technical Services at Source Support Services working with partners to develop or improve manufacturing processes, quality, repair, and reliability of Information Technology (IT) equipment/systems. I use my technical experience to train repair technicians and help desk engineers to diagnose and repair IT equipment all over the world while also evaluating and creating custom processes for partner organizations which helps to keep their systems/equipment operating at their full potential with the least down time to users. A few past positions in the military included management and overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple large-scale intelligence community (NSA) data centers, telecommunications systems engineer (designing enterprise systems and networks), Commander for the Army’s most remote satellite control facility, ROTC instructor, instructor/course writer for radio & COMSEC repair soldiers, telecommunications repair shop foreman, data center/technical control facilities installer, and IT facility tempest inspector. My technical education includes PMP, CISSP, VMware Data Center, Telecommunications Systems Engineering Course, A+ Certification, Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodian Course, Telecommunications Systems Installers Course, Tempest Inspector Course, Instructor Course, Officer Candidate School, and Acquisition Course.
