Currently a Firefighter/EMT with Sanibel Fire Rescue District. Retired from the Coast Guard after 20 years of service where I was responsible for operating boats and leading law enforcement teams. I was also assigned as the Public Affairs Officer and had the lead role in public relations for the Coast Guard in the Fort Myers area. In addition to those duties, I was the Operations Officer, in charge of day to day operations, intel gathering, mission planning, unit organization and staffing concerns. Throughout my career, I worked as a Health Promotion Coordinator responsible for keeping our workforce in good health. Working in the Coast Guard was a very versatile career giving me a lot of experience in different aspects of leadership, management, and administration.
