About Todd Weyerstrass

Growing up in a small town of 400 people in Wisconsin, the eldest of three kids, I learned the value of hard work at an early age, managing a paper route from the age of 10 and baling hay for three different farmers by the age of 12 or 13. After paying my way through college working as part of a pipeline construction crew, I joined the U.S. Air Force. My dad was in the military, and that's probably at least part of why I was drawn to enlist but also because I felt called to serve my country and saw it as an opportunity. At my core, I'm an insanely hard worker. If I see a problem, I'll fix it, and my drive, determination, and reputation for getting things done, keeping my word, and doing the right thing allowed me to thrive during my two-plus decades in the military. With a background that spanned operations leadership (2nd in charge of a organization), curriculum development (named #1 trainer while serving as a senior intelligence officer ), and training asset oversight (oversaw dorm and training facility valued at $330 million), I'm proof there's life after the military. Today I'm a Deputy Director for a Maritime Operations Center, and in this capacity, I get to leverage a lot of the background I gained during my time with the Air Force, including my background in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance or ISR. If I had a mantra, it would be,"Tell the truth.make someone proud."
