As the Director of Strategic IT Initiatives for the Division of Developmental Disabilities at The Missouri Department of Mental Health, I lead and manage IT and interoperability projects for enterprise case management system implementations. I have over 10 years of proven leadership in public health and healthcare service delivery, with expertise in public health information systems, data, and technology. I am a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB). My mission is to deliver excellence through data-driven operations and innovative healthcare technology initiatives. I have a track record of developing and maintaining solid working relationships with stakeholders, providing vision, direction, and leadership for interoperable electronic standards-based public health data reporting and exchange, and driving concept creation, technical development, and launch of healthcare IT solutions. I am skilled in communicating complex public health concepts and information, as well as the capabilities and limitations of information technologies. I am also adept at managing financial requirements and profitability for projects, designing business processes that deliver better and more efficient patient care, and applying organizational systems and accountability to public health agencies.
