IBM Senior Technical Staff Member (STSM) with over 20 years technical pre-sales experience in activities such as presentations and demos, workshops, architecture deep dives, whiteboard sessions, designing complex solutions, delivering Proof of Concept (PoC), Proof of Technology (PoT), Readiness Plans, Technical Delivery Assessments, Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP). I also am called to assist with post-sales client support and deployment assistance, augmenting what is available from IBM Product Support and IBM Expert Labs. Current focus is providing in-depth assistance across all North American markets for the IBM Application Platform portfolio; WebSphere Hybrid Edition, WebSphere Application Server; both traditional WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Liberty, as well as WebSphere Automation. My current role builds on prior experience in similar roles for WebSphere Application Server, IBM Cloud Private and IBM Cloud Pak for Applications as well as extensive experience in application development, system administration and database administration, both mainframe and distributed prior to joining IBM Developed and maintain “Application Modernization with WebSphere Hybrid Edition Proof of Technology (PoT) assets; OS/RHOCP system image, presentation, lab artifacts and lab instructions which has evolved from an on-site IBM Cloud Private baseline to Cloud Pak for Applications on RHOCP baseline to WebSphere Hybrid Edition on RHOCP which can be delivered either on-site or remotely (and was the lab content for Cloud Pak for Applications at IBM TechCon 2020). By leveraging my experience, I am able to remove barriers to adoption and deployment, in turn gaining client confidence and serving as a trusted technical advisor for both pre-sales and post-sales activities.
