About Tom Beckwith Phillips

I am a highly versatile Producer with over 20 years experience in the industry, having worked across numerous disciplines in visual effects and narrative production. My ability to blend in-depth experience and knowledge of technical VFX processes with an intimate understanding of creative language has made me an excellent collaborator both on the client and artist side. Winner of a VES Award for Visual Effects, I have most recently been producing VFX content for several Netflix feature projects with Fin Design in Sydney. I also recently produced several high end full CG animated game cinematics in Unreal Engine, incorporating real time virtual production techniques. I am comfortable with budgets of all scales and my past experience as a VFX artist makes me a natural bidding producer. As a VFX artist, I worked on projects such as Sunshine, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Sweeney Todd, broadcast mini series and TV Commercials. I have also developed my own content, winning Best Director at the Chicago Comedy Film Festival and Best Picture at the Rhode Island International Film Festival for my short films, which screened at numerous other BAFTA and Academy Award qualifying festivals. Passionate, driven, and people focussed, I am most happy working just that little bit out of my depth with a team in the pursuit of great cinematic storytelling.
