About Tom Beer

I am a Board Certified Anesthesiologist in private practice in Scottsdale, AZ for the past 16 years. My current role with Envision Physician Services is Regional Medical Director for Anesthesia Services for the 6 hospital Honor Health System. I have an additional appointment as Anesthesia Medical Director for Network Integration within Honor Health. My Envision responsibilities include direct patent care, medical direction of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthestists (CRNA's), management of the anesthesia workforce for the 6 hospitals including 100+ physician providers as well CRNA's, interacting with scheduling staff to work towards efficient resource utilization, coordinate with local hospital anesthesia managers to address staffing, human resource issues and daily resource management. My Honor Health responsibilities are to help drive network initiatives to improve a variety of programs incuding patient safety, improving patient experience, cost containment and resource utilization across the multi-hospital system.
