More than 30 years International experience in the aviation industry, particularly focusing on Aircraft overhaul and Leasing. Have a deep understanding of current trends and specific technologies within the aviation and leasing industry with a very good network of senior aviation industry contacts. With an early career as a hands on Engineer at Shannon Aerospace (now Lufthansa Technik Shannon) progressed through various technical and managerial roles such as Avionics engineer, A320 Avionic specialist, Lead Avionics engineer and Line manager. Have in-depth knowledge of the Aircraft overhaul industry from maintenance, modification to aircraft transitions. Have lead and been part of the core team of decision makers with the introduction of new aircraft types, and also with Lean management. Strong experience of working with Airlines at all levels from engineering to board level executives. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Specialties: Negotiating and drafting at all levels on transactional documentation with respect to technical, asset management and regulatory aspects of Operating Lease agreements. Management of all aspects of Aircraft transitions from sourcing of MROs, Engineering, parts procurement etc, including contractual negotiations with all interested parties. Budget preparation and examination and determination of maintenance reserve rates and levels. Active role in trading Assets through detailed analysis of lease contracts, and Aircraft specifications for aircraft portfolio management.
