About Tom Bradley

UX Director at Google, having been Design Director at Code Computerlove and before that spending 4 years working as a Creative Director and later Executive Product Manager for the BBC. In all of these roles, I have focussed on making digital experiences that work beautifully for the people that need them. With 20 years experience running design-led projects, I have learned how to plan and deliver creative projects where the definition of a quality outcome can be highly subjective. My strengths lie in gaining a detailed understanding of the business goals and then working with multidisciplinary teams to originate, position and deliver human-centred products that solve real problems in a cost-effective way. I am interested in helping teams understand problems or try new things using design thinking, creative facilitation and hands-on research. I believe that everyone has the ability to come up with creative solutions to the problems that they are facing, providing they ask the right questions, so enjoy sharing skills and lessons learned from experience to help others rediscover and develop this ability for themselves. I have significant experience of leading teams of creative people and measurably improving performance both individually and collectively as they work towards a shared goal. I have worked with some great organisations, including Google, Design Council, BBC, Center Parcs, Chester Zoo, MS Society, Canon, RM, Department for Education, Parliaments’ Education Service and many more.
