I believe that leaders must be optimistic. They see a brighter future and want to get there as quickly as possible. Leadership is about setting an example, motivating people, having them challenge the status quo, coalesce around a mission, and achieving greater things than individuals could achieve by themselves. A great leader brings out the best in others – not a sole contributor, not a sole intellect, but someone who’s capable of bringing out the best in people working collaboratively to seek solutions to new challenges in an ever changing landscape. As the Director of Clinical Excellence, I bring leadership experience spanning the continuum of care. Expertise encompasses development and implementation of innovative models of care, interprofessional practice, and quality systems to foster patient-centered outcomes that make a difference to our customers and our partners. Continual demonstration of excellent strategic, execution, and people leadership skills aligned to achieving results, a vibrant culture of organizational collaborative learning, and leading high performing teams that make a difference to the health and well-being of our patients.
