The types of events we provide supportive care for include Operational and Non-Operational events such as Life Events (Serious health illness, death, birth, etc.), Flight Events (Aircraft emergencies, life saving measures, on-board assaults, major media events, etc.), and Work Events (Workplace violence, active shooter scenario, natural disaster response, etc.). Our CISM, FADAP, and Professional Standards Peer support programs are industry leading Teams annually supporting our Flight Attendants with a myriad of work and life issues. Between the three Teams we have 124 Flight Attendants providing supportive care and mediation services to our population of Flight Attendants. My prior role was as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner supporting Inflight Operations for Southwest Airlines.
