Executive team member responsible for managing all aspects of Facilities, Construction, Security, Clinical Engineering and Environmental Services departments. Provide professional services and oversight in managing all plant operations, capital expenditures in the planning, design, development, construction, alteration, refurbishment, real estate transactions, property management and equipment installations for the Health Care system. Oversee all aspects of project budgets, project schedules, code and regulatory requirements. Co-authored two case studies on safety and security in a healthcare setting. Panel member of a three year safety and security assessment study for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. 23 years of leadership experience in the Navy with the last assignment being the Commanding Officer of the Naval Support Operation Center, Cheyenne. Member of US Navy Board of Survey and Inspections: Trialed, commissioned and inspected propulsion plants and engineering safety controls on Department of Defense ships. Spoke at various leadership events including, Aurora Technology Day annual conference, Rauland Board R5 Conference on company expectations and teaches Managing for Inspired Performance for the University of Colorado Health System. Certifications & Awards Exceptional Performance Award, Health First Presidential Citations for Meritorious Service from the University of Colorado Medical staff Numerous Working Together awards from the President and CEO at the University of Colorado Hospital Meritorious Service Medal, United States Navy Two time winner, Sailor of the Year, United States Navy Presidential Citation from the White House for Meritorious Service for President Obama’s visit to the University of Colorado Hospital, prepared the hospital for proper security and safety for the president’s visit after the Aurora theater shootings.
