Long-experienced President, CEO, and Board Chairman. Bringing new, unique, innovative, and transformative innovations to organ preservation, transport, transplantation, organ banking, and, to limb preservation and transportation for replantation in healthcare, for the biotechnology sector. Continuing scientific, technology, and business development achievements in both organ and limb oxygenated preservation, resuscitation, and transport - working within the FDA regulatory Medical Device Clearance and Approval environments. VPS is focused on bringing a revolutionary vascularized tissue oxygenated preservation, resuscitation, and transport platform medical device to market. Using internally generated and Patent-protected breakthrough technologies; and, supported by investor, DARPA, and Grant fundings. We have contracted with the USAF 59th. Medical Wing, U.S. Army's Institute of Surgical Research (ISR) and the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard to conduct extensive large animal (to include human) bench and field testings. We intend to use this simple, light weight, easy-to-use, transportable, and inexpensive device to extend the geographic range of transplantation/replantation possibilities, for both organs and limbs, from roughly 300 miles to nationwide, and beyond - to worldwide. Currently more than 50% of all donated organs wind-up being rejected for transplant. We will significantly and dramatically reduce this number. Other ongoing R&D collaborations include: Texas Heart Institute (THI), Texas Children's Hospital, Duke University Medical School, Harvard University Medical School, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and the University of Nebraska Medical School. As well as similar U.S. and International institutions in Australia, Chile, and in Europe. My own Graduate level recognitions are from Harvard Business School (MBA); Yale Graduate School (MA); and, MIT (Executive Management Program in Transportation).
