About Tom Duerr

As a communications expert with more than 20 years of experience creating content to engage diverse audiences, I know how to make a message matter and have a lasting impact on people. I am currently a member of the Corporate Communications team at AT & T supporting key business units such as: AT & T Business, our Marketing & Growth Organization and Sponsorships team. I also have a wealth of experience in executive communications support, media relations for our fast-growing 5G and Fiber networks as well as our HR organization. Prior to coming to AT & T, I was an award-winning journalist - having worked in and led some of the largest and most influential local newsrooms across the country. I am still very much involved in broadcasting as a play-by-play broadcaster for Coppell High School baseball and football on Champion Sports Radio and Texas Wesleyan University Football on KTXA-TV in Dallas-Fort Worth. Previously, I was the voice of University of Texas at Dallas Men's and Women's Basketball as well as the "Friday Night Big Game Feature Game" on KBTX-TV in Bryan-College Station. I am a native of Buffalo, NY and Fort Erie, Ontario.
