Experienced Senior Technical Engineer and Structures Lead for British Airways Engineering. Specialist in ATAs 50 thru 57, with Parts CAMO, 145 & 21 approvals on A32x, A350, A380, & B787. I hold a leading position in the team responsible for ensuring British Airways' fleet is compliant with all applicable regulation, while running reliability monitoring inspections and improvement modifications which help to develop and future-proof the fleet. Responsible for- Supporting the training and continuous professional development of colleagues within the technical team, particularly those involved in aircraft structure- Sitting as British Airways' representative on industry level working groups such as the FAAs Transport Aircraft Metallic & Composites Structures Working Group and Airbus' Removable Structural Components Working Group- Sitting on and contributing to company technical safety review boards on behalf of the Structures discipline- Developing, reviewing, modernising and amending British Airways technical policies, procedures and standards. I consistently maintain a proactive, flexible and pragmatic approach.
