About Tom Foley

Thomas Foley is the Managing Director and a Private Wealth Advisor at Hightower Omaha. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Tom specializes in the development of comprehensive financial strategies and personalized investment plans. Tom concentrates on financial planning, risk management and managed money. With a keen focus on taxes and inflation, he works with clients and their families to create long-term, goal-based strategies that help them realize the future they envision. Tom was honored in 2019 to 2025 as one of Forbes Best in State Advisors. He was also honored as a Barron’s Top Financial Advisor in 2009, and has been named to several of Smith Barney’s prestigious Councils for elite advisors from Prior to Hightower, Tom was a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. He previously worked in many of the world's key financial centers, including London, Frankfurt, Geneva, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York, with a focus on finance and international banking. Tom received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Nebraska. With a dual major in Economics and Finance, he graduated with High Distinction. He holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses. Tom, his wife, Tamara, and their three children, Cal, Paige and Georgia, live in the historic Happy Hollow area of Omaha. With the little free time left from parenting, Tom and Tamara enjoy restoring their colonial home, searching for art and antiques, and playing some tennis.
