About Tom Freeman

Tom Freeman is a husband, father, and grandfather who proudly grew up in the Midwest (Cubs, Bears, Hoosiers, Hawkeyes) with hard working union bloodlines. As a side hustle, he works as an engineer. He began his career at Pratt & Whitney in 1985 in South Florida working on X-planes, particularly in hypersonic propulsion. In he joined GE Vernova (current name) where he eventually found his niche. From thermodynamic simulation manager to services engineering’s Gas Turbine Leader to Chief Customer Consultant inside the sales/services team, it took him 40 years to realize he’s just the engineering version of his father, a teacher and a coach. He’s had a lot of roles, been to a lot more places than his grandparents ever dreamed, and is now as far north as he will be allowed to live without dire consequences. A transplanted yankee. Yet, his vocational calling apex has culminated as the Gas Turbine Coach, with the goal of making the players in our the industry all that they can be until the Dominion and Micah Mandates are met.
