About Tom Gibbons

Tom is an owner of Wachusett Mortgage Corporation (WMC). He and his partners established this independent mortgage origination firm in November 1992. WMC has had only one location, at 45 Sterling, Street, West Boylston, MA. Tom began his lending career in 1976. In addition to mortgage loan origination, Tom has a background in consumer lending, mortgage underwriting and closings, mortgage servicing, selling mortgage loans in the secondary mortgage market, regulatory compliance and product development. Tom derives great enjoyment from helping first time homebuyers. He finds it most satisfying to educate borrowers regarding various types of loans available, how to prepare for the home-buying and financing processes and what to expect throughout the transaction. Tom’s primary goal with all borrowers is to provide exceptional customer service. He places a very high premium on each and every customer and their mortgage transaction. Tom thoroughly explains the application process and all financing options. Tom encourages his customers to contact him whenever the need arises during the mortgage loan process and even after their loan closes. He always returns telephone calls and responds to emails. He aims to have a smooth mortgage loan transaction and to build a strong and lasting relationship with each of his customers. Many of Tom’s clients are multiple repeat borrowers who have become true friends.
