About Tom Grady

Engineer at heart and love applying that mindset to try to 'solve' financial markets. My career journey has taken me from designing computers to auditing banks during the financial crisis, investigating international financial fraud and now investing in public equities. I believe if markets are solvable it's through combining diverse experiences and skills such as that, in a team environment where a continual process of develop, assess and improve is used. I'm both ACA and CFA qualified with 1st Class Masters in Engineering and almost 10 years experience in equity markets. First as a tech analyst on the sell side and now a buy-side equity research analyst covering all-caps in all sectors. I've helped develop investment processes including screening and risk management tools, business models and processes for integrating ESG factors. I've helped to launch new funds and most enjoy idea generation and building repeatable, intellectually rigorous and high-alpha investment processes.
