About Tom Hanson

Most recently I found my passion spending 5 years thriving in SaaS sales and account management, working in the commercial digital and customer engagement PropTech space with global leading, scale up business, Equiem. Starting out as a strategic account manager, I advanced to a prominent leadership position in business development for the APAC region. I’ve consistently delivered impressive revenue results and ensured high client retention, as we redefined commercial office real estate customer engagement technology. My success in bringing in new software business and building key strategic partnerships comes from an emphasis on honesty, trust and delivering on promises. I like to meet clients wherever possible face to face, and build relationships. I think strategically about client needs, and love assisting clients with their pain points and problems. I'm a people person, and internally thrive as part of small hardworking successful teams. Our Equiem team utilises the MEDDPICC sales methodology with Gong AI tools, alongside CRM Hubspot. Before diving into the PropTech space my background was in finance in London and Sydney, handling clients for prestigious global organisations such as UBS, Morgan Stanley, Barclays Capital and Rothschild Asset Management. Outside of work my passions include real estate, live music and most ball sports. I love attending the Olympics, having watched 4 live so far, including Athens, Paris, London and Sydney where I was a volunteer spectator services team lead.
