I am a retired IT and academic professional with a wealth of experience working with, teaching and managing people from many countries in a variety of complex, global settings and initiatives. I enjoyed considerable success in my careers, and met the learning opportunities and challenges of each of my professional experiences with enthusiasm. During my 30 years working in software engineering and information technology, I held a diversity of technical, methodology, organizational and project leadership positions. I have an in-depth knowledge of software systems development methods, processes and tools for desktop, portal and transactional applications. I have managed large projects producing high quality, on time and within budget business solutions for a variety of industries. I have developed and deployed successful IT service management organizations that blend onshore and offshore engineering resources. I have strong communication, interpersonal and organizational leadership skills, and have extensive experience building and leading process and project teams.
