About Tom Helbig

Basically, I have a strong focus on Accounting, Financial Representation and Auditing. Most projects were in this area and my tasks were not only implementing a software, but also describing and streamlining the main business processes on "Buy-" and "Sell-side". I´m now working with the Oracle e-Business Suite and the latest Oracle Fusion Financials for about 18 years in different roles and positions. Since 2009, I´m a freelance consultant and worked for international Projects and different sectors as an Implementation Consultants (mainly functional, with some technical aspects) or as a Projectmanager. For about 12 years, I worked for Oracle in Germany in the e-Business Suite Consulting LoB. I lead the Financial Community of Oracle in Germany, a sort of Product Manager, responsible for all financials Localizations in the Accounting area (testing of new releases, development of localizations and contact to customers). Before Oracle, I worked for a Chartered Accountant- and Tax Consultant Company as and Tax Assistant I studied Tax Consultancy, Consultancy and Chartered Accountancy.
