About Tom Howell

I have over 20 years experience as a designer, mostly in the leisure sector. In that time my focus has moved from Health Club design through larger-scale developments such as the Amida Clubs to the creation of award winning Spa and Hotel projects such as The House Spa at Dormy House Hotel, which won the Mr. & Mrs. Smith Best Spa Hotel Award, and was named as No.5 Best Smith Spa Hotel in the World. The Hotel also picked up first place in the Sunday Times 'Top 100 Spas' list, Conde Nast Johansens 'Best Destination Hotel' and AA Hotel of the Year.We worked with Harrods ion 2021 to create their luxurious Hair and Beauty department at their flagship Knightsbridge store. Our projects the Cottonmill Spa at Sopwell House Hotel for AB Hotels and the Spa at South Lodge Hotel for Exclusive Hotels have won multiple awards (including Conde Nast Johansens' Best Destination Spa of the Year UK & Europe), and we are working again on new projects for both clients.Sparcstudio continues to produce award winning, creative but pragmatic design for our clients.
