About Tom Hughes
Over the last 30+ years I have worked in many disciplines in engineering from offshore compressors to aircraft design. I have held senior positions in both engineering and sales at times managing 70+ people across Europe. In the last few years I have started my own business in a new field selling contract furniture and I also have a fully managed furniture shop. This has given me a whole lot of new challenges such as cash management, marketing, purchasing and business start up, most enjoyable in these trying times. Over the last 18 months I have also been working on an engineering feasibility project funded by IUK to design an Electrical Axle for MCV's, with a difference, offering low floor access and increased capacity.
