An adaptive and creative business operator with 25 years experience leading diverse teams and delivering successful programs in commercial and non-profit settings in the UK, the US and Australia. As a General Manager and Social Impact advocate, I bring a valuable blend of commercial acumen and ethics to every project. I'm focused on bridging the gap between profit and purpose, and my goal is always to create the culture and operations required for positive impact. My career began at international advertising agencies, where I built up my skills in marketing strategy, consumer psychology, behaviour change, brand communications, and project, client, and team management while working with global brands. This foundation has proven exceptionally useful in my subsequent career leading social change initiatives. I shifted my focus to social impact in 2013 when I retrained and dedicated what wisdom and expertise I have to helping organisations integrate ethical practices and achieve greater social and financial sustainability. I've guided businesses to embed purpose and ethics into their core strategies, and non-profits to enhance their impact and financial resilience through innovation, fundraising and operational efficiency. My experience spans all levels of leadership, from managing distributed multi-disciplinary global teams, and working with small local squads, to Executive and Senior Leadership Teams, and CEO/Board-level governance. I am a big believer in the responsibility of business to generate economic value whilst upholding strong ESG, and in the importance of resource effectiveness and sustainability within the non-profit and public sectors.
