About Tom Hurd

Over ten years of experience in digital transformation have taught me that I love helping businesses harness the power of digitalisation to solve problems and innovate their products, services and ways of working. I work with a design and user-centric approach that aims to satisfy both user engagement and commercial needs of the business. I've created and led projects from smaller marketing and brand websites through to large scale, multi-level and multi-phased online service projects. While I have worked the full gamut of roles in digital projects, my special skill is creating big picture, well thought out concepts for new products, services or tools. I bring the same user-centric, empathetic mindset from my design approach to how I work with teams and people to motivate, encourage and empower them to grow. My philosophy for any project is to always have a wide lens, to understand the bigger picture outside of the immediate scope of the project, and to use this information to build something better than what it replaces and that fits well into this bigger picture.
