My value to an organization is my ability to apply my intellect and work ethic to any problem or task, deconstructing it, enjoining resources to achieve favorable results, and then, finding efficiencies in the process, sharpen and refine it until any individual can achieve positive and repeatable results. I apply the same wisdom to understanding people and their desires and needs. This allows me to design, and test processes that deliver economical and superior customer service. I love serving people and I love sharing in their success. I was blessed to come up through a fast-growing organization from the technical side. With manifold opportunities, I learned in the trenches from the masters. I was the founding manager of two service organizations – one, the service logistics center, the other the services marketing organization. Being a key founding management member of a fast growing services organization at Exide Electronics/Powerware, I was an instrumental part of growing that business by over twenty fold over the same number of years. I finished my career at Powerware by managing a sales region, including direct sales engineers and manufacturer’s reps. I am an entrepreneur at heart. My recent 9 year stint as an owner of a front-line retail enterprise gave me experience that is not obtainable in the corporate environment or in the academy. I know what makes people tick. I know how to build a business, make a budget, meet a payroll, and I know how to return a solid profit. I gained the discipline necessary to survive and thrive in a rough and merciless environment where every day you either win or lose, with not much in between. The lessons I learned during this period are transferable to the corporate organization. My sizable experience in the services business, combined with my intellect and superior work ethic, make me a wise value-choice for any forward thinking profit-focused organization.
