About Tom Jacoby

I founded IOSecure in 1994 because I wanted to work at a company that stopped at nothing to make technology work – and work well – for customers. Since that time we have seen many shifts in our industry. Technology has both simplified and become more complex. The one constant is that customers need access to experts who can guide them strategically while delivering practical results. I am proud of the fact that our company is one of the top specialists for networking and security in Canada, often called upon by our partners and customers to solve some of the toughest challenges. Growing our valuable client base through word-of-mouth referrals, our reputation has also enabled us to attract a talent pool of some of the top minds in network architecture. We have consciously built a culture that ensures we are great to work for and with - we encourage positive work/life integration for both staff and clients so that they can fulfill their personal lives and those of their families. As we transition to a multi-cloud world, our customers’ data centres are no longer in single physical locations. Instead, they are everywhere their data is. This means the network is the most critical and potentially the most vulnerable element of any architecture. We operate within an ecosystem of some of the best technology providers in the world and have deep relationships with our vendor partners, who share a mutual respect. This means we have access to great minds when we run across a problem we haven’t seen before. Probably one of the best compliments paid to us recently was when one of our clients said, “We always call you because you are the guys who get stuff done.”
