About Tom Knight

I am a freelance Producer for VFX, 2D animation and motion graphics. The teams I have managed have been both remote and in-house. I have experience with budget negotiations, scheduling creative teams and developing long-term client relationships. I have had exposure to a variety of different types of projects including VR & XR based projects. Prior to going freelance I worked in permanent positions at Industrial Light & Magic and The Mill. As a Resource Manager for Industrial Light & Magic, I managed each of the teams within the VFX pipeline during the mass expansion of the studio. Always striving to be creative with problem solving, I am well organised, efficient and have a positive approach to my work. I pride myself on my professional and friendly manner whilst trying to learn from the people I collaborate with. I hope to gain a ​sense of achievement as a team, rather than just as an individual.
