Professional Experience The Boeing Company, 1990 to Present Management Experience 2002 to Present • International assignments at Rolls-Royce in Derby UK and Site Lead for the 787 Return to Flight effort, in Kyoto, Japan. Rolls-Royce assignment was to ensure Trent engine certification was completed to deliver 787-9 initial aircraft to Air New Zealand on schedule. Kyoto assignment was three months in duration during initial grounding of 787 fleet by the FAA in early 2013. Implemented design and manufacturing upgrades; coordinated with Everett and Singapore operations; and had daily interaction with Vice President-level Executive Leadership. The team went from preliminary design to initial battery deliver in 12 weeks to return the 787 fleet to revenue flights. • Program Manager of RS-25 Engine Software effort for Aerojet Rocketdyne,$4.2M contract value. • Responsible for leading the team to close the Systems Requirements Review in support of Gate 8 and Gate 9 completion for the certification of the 787-9 aircraft. • Chief Engineer for Soldier Systems team on Future Combat Systems, member of the FCS Chief Engineer’s Council for technical excellence. • Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) Manager for Unmanned Ground Vehicles on Brigade Combat Modernization Team • Ground Support Systems Integration Manager on Ground Based Mid-Course Defense Program, responsible for ground support integration at Ft. Greely, AK and Vandenberg AFB, CA. Engineering Experience 1986 -2002 • Boeing - Systems Engineering and Project Management on International Space Station Program. Time was split evenly in Huntsville, AL and Houston, TX. International experience with Canadian Space Agency and Alenia Aeronautica in Turin, Italy. Experience with avionics lab integration and supplier management. • Wyle Laboratories/Applied Research –Space Shuttle payload integration, cost analysis of U.S. Army missile systems.
