About Tom Kuperus
I am an Analyst in the Business Innovation and Strategy Unit with the Government of Alberta, Correctional Services. I have experience in a variety of correctional settings including correctional centres, and community corrections offices. My experience so far has been far-reaching, dynamic as well as challenging. I am also director of a charity called Sunrise of Life an organization which I helped co-found in 2010. Sunrise of Life is a Canadian Charity with all project focus in Tanzania. The goal of the organization is to give street children opportunities to become self-sustainable. Through our holistic program developed in partnership with the people of Tanzania, we foster sustainable futures for vulnerable children. I have a BA in Justice Studies and a Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies through Royal Roads University.
