Background
About Tom Lancaster
With over 20 years dedicated to inspiring and developing student-athletes in the UK and US, I bring a wealth of experience as both an educator and coach. My passion lies in building future leaders through a solid foundation in kinesiology, which I've practically applied throughout my career in soccer. Holding USSF C and UEFA B licenses, along with a BSc (Hons) in Football Coaching, Development and Administration, I have a deep understanding of what drives athletic development and performance. Currently, I'm proud to be Adjunct Faculty and Head Soccer Coach at Irvine Valley College. In my role as Head Coach for the Women's team, we won an OEC League Championship, and I've facilitated player advancement to professional and collegiate levels. Additionally, I contributed to the Men's team's success as an Assistant Coach, helping them secure an OEC League Championship and two second-place finishes. I've enjoyed developing and teaching kinesiology courses, ensuring principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion are integrated. Serving on the hiring committee also allows me to contribute to the college's future.
