I am a Commissioning Editor at Wiley, where I have strategic responsibility for the nursing, midwifery and allied health portfolio of educational print and digital products. I graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in English Language and Creative Writing, and I have a passion for creating dynamic and engaging content that meets market needs and supports learning outcomes. My core competencies include project management, writing and copy editing, market research, and data analysis. In my current role, I work with authors, internal stakeholders, and external partners to cultivate growth and innovation in key areas of the list, such as the renowned Royal Marsden franchise. I use self-made PowerBI apps to support commissioning and performance analysis, and I consult on interdepartmental business optimisation projects. I also mentor new editorial staff and contribute to the development of best practices and workflows.
