Science indicates that 5 is the number of male friends will save your life. You can achieve every "success" in life, but it will not matter if you find yourself alone on the mountaintop. When the chips are down, when life crushes you (which it does all of us), when you are unsure, you can go on. That's when five close friends can help you break through. Too many men are dying of loneliness. Particularly young men. Our mission at Five4Life is to break the isolation of Gen Z men by enabling them to build and maintain deep friendships. And after building several companies but destroying my own life - now at 58, I am dedicated to serving young men. Hi - I'm Tom. I'm a husband to a fantastic wife, Elena, and a proud father of a daughter Kerry (29), and sons Seamus and Cole (27 and 18). I recently left a successful 25-year business career that never made me happy, other than the mentorship of young CEOs. I have been sober for 26 years and speak frequently about sobriety. But my true calling is to help men get sober and to activate a movement by which we can address academic failure, escalating suicide rate, opioid deaths, school shootings, depression, anger, and apathy which is epidemic among Gen Z men.
