About Tom Matthews

My passion for leadership, marketing and communications runs deep. Since I began my career I have: caught the last gasp of newspaper glory; helped launch a digital media start-up in broadcasting; and earned three Emmy Awards working across the globe. I'm now a member of the senior leadership team - directing marketing, communications and content- for an entrepreneurial services company providing leadership and operational support for small businesses across North America. We equip all of them for even greater success. My work in digital media, content and marketing makes me a highly effective communicator who can:+deliver messages with clarity in any business climate - times of growth, success and crisis;+develop strong relationships with internal/external clients to create new business opportunities;+build brand awareness for products and people. A hallmark of my career is always choosing to work in environments of high standards - including The New York Times, Dow Jones and NBC Sports & Olympics and NBC News – where I build innovative and results-driven teams who produce ideas and products that are memorable, inspire action and create success. Words are the single most influential tool in my business and life. My success is built on a combination of choosing the best ones and the best platform from which to deliver them.
