About Tom Maxwell

Tom is currently semi-retired but available to work part time, work on short term projects or consult as needed. Tom is a Plant Engineer with over thirty years of experience in food/beverage manufacturing and facility management. He has hands on experience with PLC’s, Refrigeration Systems, Boilers, PSM, Processing Systems, VFD’s, Packaging Equipment, Plant Layouts, Well Systems and Waste Water Treatment. His strengths include strong problem solving techniques, effective people management, and he is a quick learner with good business management skills. He is proficient with PC’s and Software including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, several CMMS programs and RS Logics. Tom responsibilities include Engineering, Maintenance, Project Management, Public Well Water Systems, Waste Water Treatment, Environmental Compliance, HAZMAT, Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP). He has worked in Total Process Management (TPM)/ Lean Management plants and uses those techniques and tools still to reduce costs and waste. He has managed departments of less than 10 Technicians which required extensive hands on involvement to departments with over 80 Technicians, 5 Supervisors and 3 Engineers.
