About Tom McClure

I am an intellectual property attorney specializing in patent and trademark prosecution. My goal is to provide value to clients by thoroughly understanding and carefully articulating their intellectual property. I assist clients in a many different aspects of obtaining patents and trademarks and operating in today's intellectual property environment. Services I provide include preparing and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, providing various opinions, recordal of assignments and changes in title. As an intellectual property attorney I have worked in many technical areas including chemical, mechanical, medical devices, and electrical. Prior to attending law school, I was involved in industrial manufacturing as an engineer or manager for more than a decade. During my industrial career I worked in chemical manufacture, textiles, coating of films, and vacuum metallization of film and paper. Because of this varied background I can become familiar with a client's specific technology or field quickly and enthusiastically.
