About Tom McCreesh
BA (Hons), MA, CMLI, Senior Consultant, is a chartered landscape architect, with over five years of professional experience. He originally comes from an architectural background. Prior to LDA Design, he completed a Masters with Distinction in Landscape Architecture from Writtle College. Before joining LDA, he worked as a Landscape Architect at Gensler. He has been involved in a number of high profile, large scale landscape projects within the Middle East. As such, he honed his design skills, gaining experience working within large consultant teams as well as coordinating with in-house project architects. Tom also acted as design lead for a community led intervention to provide a pop-up garden on an abandoned platform at London's Barbican Underground railway station. The pop-up garden opened in the summer of 2015. His passion comes from being in a position to shape and improve how people interact with a variety of spaces and environments. Specialties: Photoshop, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Sketch up, In Design, photography, hand drawing, model making and Microsoft office.
