About Tom Palmer

Passionate about technology and a keen photographer. I am an IT support specialist with experience at 1st, 2nd and 3rd line working with a variety of IT systems and applications including Windows Server, ESXi and Hyper-V Virtualisation, Education Applications, SQL Databases, Networks and various operating systems. Day to day management of Active Directory, Exchange Servers, Group Policy Management, Printer Deployment and backup Management. I have been involved with projects including upgrading and migrating Windows Server; Deploying newer operating systems; and managing a major software upgrade across 30+ sites. I have involved myself in all aspects of these projects including the implementation design, testing, deployment and customer liaising. My early career in retail has enabled me to bring an invaluable level of customer service to my current role in IT support. I have established trusting relationships with clients adding a more personal touch to my support excellent communication skills both verbal and written, engaging with end users, internal departments and external contacts at all levels.
