About Tom Perusi

starting in The US Army 24G20 Hawk Missle Radar and computer technician I won many awards while being tested by allied countrys on my abilities to repair and bring up my equipment to go status under pressure. I got out worked for Bendix Avionics where I worked on all kinds of weather radar for 3 years and autopilots. left for general avaition to learn all type aircraft. Learned engineering and installation of total avionic packages and was always being offered more money to move to other companies that is how I wound up at AMR Combs. Got my A/P licence and moved on to avionics line for FedEx. was on flight test for the conversion from DC10 to MD10. also was flight line mechanic along with avionics bench repairing all types of radios and radars, autopilots, nav/coms all avionics. was awarded the highest award FedEx can give purple wing award voted on by fellow amt's. In short I have worked A/P functions avionics engineering and installations, bench radio repair and flight test and special projects like AMCM. Flight crews called in while blocking out or taxiing out when any problems arrive we would troubleshoot to make a go out of a no go situation. I never had a problem on any aircraft I could not solve and miss that.
