About Tom Reuvers

As a motivated physics engineer I have a broad interest in how the world works. My interest ranges from the biggest interactions in the universe to the smallest discoveries in subatomic particle physics and everything in between. I have experience in numerical simulations within University research groups and I also enjoy the data analysis to find the solutions to the problems that I have faced so far. I am looking to develop myself further in this area. Furthermore I have interest in the fields of optics, radiation, nuclear physics, sustainability and energy transition. I get energy from the hands on part of performing experiments within the scope of scientific research related to a project I’m working on. I am skilled in written and verbal knowledge transfer and have strong soft skills. I am strong working independently, although I appreciate working in a team, as it increases the efficiency of the working process. I also have experience in leading small research groups, such as the radiation measurement part of the PR4 student team mentioned below. I am looking in the direction of research and development, but am willing to take on other interesting projects as well.
