About Tom Robinson

In 2019 I became a Lifeguard at Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre, and I am still currently working in the organisation. After a few years of working at GESAC, I have up-skilled and become a Senior Lifeguard, and now a Duty Manager, which holds more responsibility and accountability. In 2020 I completed my VCE at De La Salle College in Malvern. After finding a love for Business in my final years at school, I came to the decision that business was what I wanted to pursue in my career. I applied to universities to study in a bachelor of Business and a major in Marketing as that was what I Ioved most. I was accepted into Swinburne University of Technology in 2021, and began my Business Marketing journey in that same year. Also in that year, I began an internship marketing role at a plumbing business, Gallant Plumbing. I am currently in my second year there, and have learnt so much from being in a professional workplace environment. Having a great education from university, and mentoring from Gallant Plumbing, has allowed me to adopt what I have learnt and apply them in real world situations. I am always eager to improve my learning and knowledge, and I am excited to see where my journey takes me.
