About Tom Rontu
Started in the late 80’s with laboratory automation. In the beginning it was more about service, but quite soon also programming of robots came along. Have been working with serveral instrument manufacturers such as Zymark, VanKel, HunterLab to mention some. The last almost 25 years I mainly worked with Tecan Liquid handlers. With Tecan I started doing service and programming, but quite soon I was involved also in the sales process. At some stage I did the complete set including the sales, installations, customer trainings, customer support and field service. My customers were located all over Finland, so I did some travelling as well. The feedback from my customers was very positive and I really enjoyed working at customer sites.
