About Tom Sands

I am a third generation speciality chemical company entrepreneur with a proven track record of developing and delivering highly disruptive chemical and mechanical solutions for industrial, commercial and retail markets. A lifelong passion for innovation, coupled with a strong desire for a safer and greener future, led me to found Safe Solvents Europe Ltd. An environmental technology company with a mission to rid the workplace of nasty solvents, heated detergents and energy hungry cleaning systems. To this end, Safe Solvents created Ambimization, a radical disruption in cleaning technology. Meaning cleaning can now be done with a water based, non-toxic fluid, at room temperature and in a manner which reduces waste, increases employee safety and is environmentally friendly Since launching in 2015 I have been privileged and humbled to see Ambimization adopted and embraced by major OEMs and SMEs alike, all united by a common objective – to bring radical change and benefits to their organisations.
