My teams, colleagues, and customers find me approachable. I am often one of the first people they reach out to with their issues. Admittedly, this can be challenging to manage but helping people solve problems has always been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.I am known for being able to unite teams and leverage the strengths of others to achieve success. By doing this I have played an integral role in hundreds of data migrations worldwide.My most treasured compliments are when a former employee says that I was the best manager that they ever had. When I am asked to manage or build a team my goal is to create an atmosphere where employees embrace the following: • Trust – Everyone should feel that their teammates have their back. Taking the extra time to work through an issue with someone and acknowledging other’s accomplishments goes a long way.• Act like an owner – Strive to understand the business and continually work to transfer your knowledge to the team. Don’t hesitate to speak up if you think there is a better way. • The customer is always first – I know it is a cliché but in the end it always has to be about the customer not just technology or following protocol.
