Director of Litigation for Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas. LANWT has 25 offices in 15 cities serving 114 counties in northwest Texas providing legal services to a client community at or near the federal poverty level. Board Certified Civil Trial Law Texas Board of Legal Specialization - Prior to joining LANWT, focus on commercial and construction litigation, personal injury, consumer protection, insurance law. Active with Dallas Volunteers Attorney Program (Pro Bono) and Dallas Bar Association Judiciary Committee (past Co-Chair) Pro Bono Committee (past Co-Chair) Courthouse Committee. Prior to LANWT served as a mediator and arbitrator in commercial, consumer and person injury matters. Non-Profit board experience includes Legal Hospice of Texas (2 years including serving on the Executive Committee); St.Alcuin Montessori (6 years including serving on the Executive Committee - three years and serving as Chair of various committees) Rotary Club of the Park Cities and the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association. Community activities include Rotary International Leadership Institute (RILI - facilitator), Park Cities Rotary Club and St. Rita Catholic Church -(past Coordinator - Eucharistic Ministers) Graduate of St. Louis University with B.A. in Political Science with a business certificate (1980).
